Chewy Plantation Pecan Pie


  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 cup darkbrown sugar
  • 1 cup light Karo corn syrup
  • 1-1/2 cup chopped Classic Golden Chef's Choice Pecans (large pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch shell
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon whiskey*

Beat eggs, add sugar, syrup and Classic Golden Chef's Choice Pecans. Whip in vanilla and bourbon and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 90 minutes at 225 degrees and 30 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool before serving.

*This ingredient is not required. It is only a flavoring. When added, all alcohol will fully evaporate in the baking process leaving only the flavor.
